Queer Poetry Workshop and Open Mic

October 18th: 9:30 pm - 11:30 pm @ Commons Room: PDR

We will be having a poetry workshop with poet in residence, Freesia McKee. She will run a workshop for 45 minutes based on queer ideas such as unity and acceptance. This ill be followed by a 15 minute break, after which there will be an hour long open mic for anyone who wishes to share their poetry or other creative aspects based on queer ideas. This is a way to celebrate National Coming Out Day as the open mic serves as a way for someone to ‘come out’.
