The State of Women’s Health in Wisconsin
March 21st: 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm @ Great Hall
The panel discussion will explore the current state of women’s health in Wisconsin. Topics include reproductive health, depression, and postpartum maternal health, infant mortality, disparities in mortality faced by minority women, and chronic health conditions. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A session.
The panelists are Dr. Dorothy Skye, Board President of the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin, and Dr. Jenny Higgins, Director of UW Collaborative for Reproductive Equity and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UW-Madison.
This event is co-sponsored by the Center for Politics and the People, the League of Women Voters of the Ripon Area, Ripon College’s Women’s and Gender Studies Honor Society Triota, the Ripon College Feminists, and the Panhellenic Council.
