Fine Arts at Ripon
Ripon College has enjoyed a tradition of excellence in the fine arts dating back to the early 1900s, including acting legends Spencer Tracy ’24, Harrison Ford ’64 and Frances Lee McCain ’66; award-winning musicians Al Jarreau ’62 and Gail Dobish ’76; and award winning “Titanic” sound editor Tom Bellfort ’67. Many other Ripon alumni have gone on to play major roles in the entertainment and art industries. Perhaps our greatest strength is our size, which creates a world of opportunity for anyone who is interested, regardless of major.
A special thanks to Ripon College Friends of the Arts members, who provide vital financial and volunteer support for fine arts programming and activities. Your Friends membership helps to bring outstanding performers, musicians and visual artists to the College.
