Social Responsibility
Ripon College places a strong emphasis on social responsibility within the curriculum and beyond, whether through ethical reasoning, applied business consulting or meaningful community service projects.
Students, faculty and staff work with area organizations and individuals to provide business planning, feasibility studies, marketing plans, financials and budgets, and market research
For the past four years, Ripon College has been recognized for its local community engagement efforts as a member of the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll. Ripon students provide critical support on a variety of community service projects while gaining work experience and developing sought-after professional skills. Whether as part of an athletic team, Greek organization or as part of the weekly volunteer activities organized through the Office of Student Life, Ripon College students have the opportunity to give back to the community as a tutor for kids, working with animals at the animal shelter, helping clients at the food pantry, assisting the public library, as an after-school mentor, and so much more.
At Ripon College you will find ways to give back to the local community, gain assistance with philanthropy hours for a scholarship, club or Greek organization and develop other career-ready skills. Whether you want to volunteer occasionally or commit to regular service hours, Ripon will connect you to a position that fits your schedule and interests.
